Well + Core was founded out of a commitment to provide the best care to all patients. If you ever have any questions or concerns about who we serve or what we stand for, please reach out to admin@wellcorept.com

Well + Core practices trauma-informed and compassionate care.

You are in charge of your own session here at Well + Core. Internal exams can elicit emotional reactions from anyone, especially someone who has experienced any kind of sexual trauma. We only perform treatment with your full consent which you can revoke at any time.

Well + Core is a judgment-free practice.

Things get really personal really fast in a pelvic floor physical therapy session. We’re here to ensure you can be healthy in the lifestyle that you want for yourself.

Well + Core is fully affirming, welcoming, and safe for all people.

Pelvic floor physical therapy is inherently gender-affirming care. We treat people of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Well + Core is dedicated to researched-based continued learning.

The medical industry is continually evolving. We are dedicated to keeping up with new research, objectively evaluating new data, and implementing the latest technologies, methods, and practices in our office to the best of our ability.

Well + Core is committed to getting to the root of our patients' problems.

We believe our patients when they tell us about their experiences. Medical issues can be complex. You will never hear us say, “It’s all in your head,” or, “We can’t find anything wrong, so there must not be anything wrong.” If you’re experiencing pain, discomfort, or dysfunction, there is a way to get to the bottom of it. We will work with you and collaborate with other providers until we find the root cause and best path for healing.

Well + Core acknowledges gaps in healthcare accessibility and aims to be part of the solution.

As much as we rage about the inequities in healthcare and have our own experiences of doctors dismissing us because we have uteruses, we also recognize our own privilege. Our staff is currently comprised of three able-bodied white women. We have read and listened to women of color, trans men and women, non-binary people, and people with a variety of disabilities, who are willing to educate us about their experiences with healthcare. We recognize and validate that those challenges exist for you and are working to be part of the solution.

Well + Core respects your religious beliefs and how those might be tied to your sexual ethics.

It is so important to us that you know we respect your faith traditions and are happy to hold any boundaries that come with those. Many religious patients believe strongly in no sex before marriage. Some religions do not believe in birth control. Even further, some religions may restrict certain types of pelvic floor treatment you receive (i.e. they may not permit the use of a pelvic wand.) If any of this is true for you, this is a safe place for you.
