Treatment style
My favorite thing to do is take obstacles that seem big and break them down into small, easy-to-manage pieces. I spend a lot of time making sure that my clients understand what’s happening in their body and why. I also enjoy putting together creative treatment plans that meet each patient’s very specific needs.

Professional and personal background
I am deeply passionate about the intersection between mental health and physical health. My work focuses on addressing the whole person—mind and body—to help clients navigate complex health challenges and find sustainable paths to healing and recovery. Whether you're processing the physical aftermath of cancer treatment, working through the effects of religious trauma, or managing multifaceted health conditions, I’m here to provide thoughtful, compassionate care tailored to your unique story.

My professional journey has been shaped by a commitment to continuous learning and a desire to serve clients facing some of life’s most challenging circumstances. I’ve pursued specialized training, am constantly hunting down the most up-to-date research in our field, and publish multiple CEUs of my own under my company, PT Learning Lab. Additionally, I have dedicated significant time to educating myself and others on the physical and emotional impacts of trauma, offering a safe space for clients to process and heal. I am particularly skilled in working with complex patient cases, integrating physical therapy techniques with an understanding of the emotional and psychological factors that influence recovery.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that physical and mental health are deeply intertwined. I strive to create a supportive environment where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered to take an active role in their care. My approach is grounded in collaboration—working together to identify and achieve your goals, at a pace that feels right for you.

Outside of my work, I spend a lot of time with my husband and three children, booking flights for faraway adventures, exploring parks around the Kansas City area, reading books, and serving as Vice President of my kids’ PTA. You can also find me on the stair master or lifting weights in the gym with an audiobook in my headphones.
